Intro:
Hailing from the Northern Suburbs of Sydney, Australia, Dial Denial are four dedicated young
musicians committed to connecting with audiences and writing songs that resonate with people.
Gus, Owen, Justin and Bailey have been playing together since they were 12 years old - they have
grown up together and evolved their sound and message spanning the challenges of adolescence
to the challenges facing the planet. Our live shows involve a lot of jumping around, head banging
and a high energy show. We also poke a lot of fun at each other and love crowd interaction as well as
all of our fans who continually support our journey, they are an absolute blessing to us and we
couldn’t be more grateful for them.” Dial Denial are proudly made Down Under -
passionately Australian, with a global outlook.

History:
Connecting at Big Music School & Studios and driven by common music interests and goals,
Dial Denial was formed. It was clear from the very beginning of their venture into original
songwriting that they all just clicked and had a unique bond and style. Meeting on a weekly
basis, Dial Denial have recorded and released 8 songs as well as having played festivals
and gigs interstate and Dial Denial have opened for bands such as Switchfoot, Hockey Dad,
The Rions, Yours Truly, Bugs, Hybrid Theory and Bakers Eddy.
Quotes about the band:
● Hockey Dad: “Awesome job, love the energy on stage, you guys put on a hell of a
performance!”
● Isabella Manfredi: “Dial Denial, they remind me of a young Midnight Oil.”
● Happy Mag: “Dial Denial, who may be young but damn, they put on a fiery show. They
know how to work the stage, how to play a huge guitar solo, and their originals were tight as
a nail.”
● David Ruby Howe: (Triple J) “Pretty epic turn from Dial Denial on this latest track. They
pair some frenzied playing with a cinematic finish like 00s punk bands doing the Friday Night
Lights OST.”
● David Ruby Howe: (Triple J) “Scrappy punk energy with those lyrics that'll feel like a dog
whistle for all misanthropes out there.”
Goals:
Although they couldn’t be happier with their strong start at a young age, Dial Denial are
setting their sights on a professional music career. Whilst short term goals include keeping
the live gigs rolling, writing songs that resonate with people, establishing themselves and
building up their fan base, long term they’re planning to make a worldwide positive impact
with their music, tour the world with artists they look up to and continue doing what they do
best which is playing and releasing music. In the future Dial Denial set their sights on
providing mentoring and performing opportunities to future generations of musicians.
